Custom Shoes

Custom Shoes from Basel Orthopedics René Ruepp

If orthopedic shoe inserts or orthopedic shoe adjustments cannot achieve an appropriate walking function in the long term, custom-made shoes from the orthopedic master shoemaker are the optimal solution. The orthopedic custom-made shoe is a shoe that is specially adapted to the needs of the foot, which is made on the basis of a personal last and into which orthopedic construction elements are incorporated in order to respond individually to the long-term illnesses and limitations of the patient. In addition to the right choice of upper model, the customer can also decide on the model and color combination and thus receive a comfortable and visually appealing shoe.

Handmade Shoes

Custom made orthopedic shoes

Orthopedic made-to-measure shoes are handcrafted by our master orthopedic shoemakers at Basel Orthopedic René Ruepp. For an optimal fit and a comfortable fit of the made-to-measure shoe, an exact image of the foot is created using a wide variety of measuring techniques. In addition, if necessary, the exact shape, width and size can be determined by means of a plaster cast. In addition to the therapeutic and functional aspect, our customers should receive shoes that meet their visual needs and offer a cosmetically appealing solution. The aim is to maintain or restore the patient's ability to walk as best as possible.
